The Passive Voice المبني للمجهول
The passive voice is formed by using the auxiliary verb "to be" in combination with the past participle of the main verb. The object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence, and the subject of the active sentence becomes the agent introduced by the preposition "by" (optional). Active Voice: The chef prepares the meal. (The present simple)
Passive Voice: The meal is prepared by the chef.
Active Voice: The dog chased the cat up the tree.(The past simple)
Passive Voice: The cat was chased up the tree by the dog.
Active Voice: The teacher will assign the homework tomorrow.
(Future simple)
Passive Voice: The homework will be assigned by the teacher tomorrow.
Active Voice: They have built a new bridge across the river.
( The present perfect)
Passive Voice: A new bridge has been built across the river by them.
